Old-World style buffet

I was a little nervous to try the dark wax...but I think it turned out pretty good.  After finishing the first drawer and comparing it to how bright the rest of the piece still was I thought I made the biggest mistake, but I figured I had been wanting to try and it this is the time...here she is completed.

we sanded down the top and stained it in a reddish brown color...sealed with two coats of dark wax

Set of End Tables

These were a great find...I found them at two different places, but they seem to go together so well...for their color I was influenced by some new home dec fabric that I purchased for our living room...They work great together or separate! 

 Don't they look cute together!

The detail on them is great, and all the original hardware was in great condition and the drawers have dovetail joints!  Sturdy quality furniture is always a great find!

New Venture

I hope many of you have been able to find us...we were just starting so I don't think this name change will be that confusing!  We have decided to start a whole new blog and a whole new name because we are partnering up...a couple of moms and I!  We all will be working on different pieces, but checking the same email.  If you have a request someone will answer your email shortly...or, maybe all of us!

We are all moms.  We all enjoy the hunt to find fantastic and unique furniture and decor that we can turn into a piece of art!  We love vintage, we love refabbing.  We love our children and families.  We love to serve our Lord and share our talents.
